In January 2010 I met a journeyman free carpenter in Germany as he was hitch hiking to Cassel. I drive him across Germany and I have lost his details. Very nice guy. He told me at the time everything about his guild.
Recently my wooden roof fell on my house in Slovakia and I am not rich. I wanted to know if I could ask some free carpenters to help me repair it later this year? My house is single story, very small and is located on 2,000sqm of land. Its on the eastern side of Slovakia near the Ukraine border. I could on my way from the UK in August pick up any interested Journeymen carpenters on my way through Germany if I am given their phone number or addresses.
Also I wanted to ask if I could find my old free carpenter I met in January 2010 in the middle of a snow storm in Germany. I am american and at the time I had a red passat.
I don't know how to find him?
Many thanks and right now I'm in the uk trying to earn money for the supplies for the roof in Slovakia.
I will have a caravan for any carpenter which will have beds and sleeping for 4 people. Also food and building materials.
